Stephanie, you only sent your message to panelists. Feel free to re-send to everyone and we can see if any other folks here have suggestions :)

Can anyone suggest a text on 4/6C’s that includes examples across curriculum? Thanks!

It was a brand new building that was built as part of Gahanna Schools. Dwight can talk more about the specifics.

How difficult is it to convince library media specialists to move in the direction of the "coffee shop model"?

It would be great to get a list of ideas for ways to get "approved" items that can be re-purposed as far as school approved as you mentioned fire retardant spray etc...

Just to put in a little plug from the Learning Space PLN. There are some great spaces in this presentation and shared in the chat. I’d encourage you to share them with others through the Flexible Learning Environments eXchange [http://flexspace,org]. This is a free resources of learning spaces across K-20

The library may be the only place where some students can go to find a quiet space to study. How do you suggest maintaining this in addition to offering flexible, collaborative space too?
donna luetjen
01:01:50
Do you think that these classroom designs also require teacher training for re-designing their curriculum to be more project based?
Simon Helton - ISTE
01:02:09
That’s an interesting question, Donna

@Stephanie - we converted the former "make and take" room in the library for faculty (butcher paper, die cutter, laminator, etc.) into a quiet study space with comfortable furnishings for students. Then, moved the make and take items out into a brand new makerspace in the libraryfor use by staff and students.
Brian Seymour
01:04:44
The space needs to fit the instructional outcomes and purpose of the room
Stephanie Hammond
01:04:54
Thank you, Nancy. Very helpful to hear how other schools are accomplishing this!
